“Manetkin” - Olga Gulevich’s soulful plasticine performance for family viewing based on the wonderful tale of Julia Donaldson. The author of the Russian text is Marina Boroditskaya.
The story of “Manetkin” is filled with love for his native home and family. In the usual morning, the main character - a twig from a tree - went for a run, not suspecting which way he would have to go in order to return back. Ahead of him are waiting - fire, water and copper pipes.
All the scenery and characters are hand-made by actress and director Olga Gulevich. The performance includes music by Saint-Saens, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Tariverdiev, as well as the poem "Tree" by Grigory Pozhenyan, performed by actor Timofey Tribuntsev.
After the performance, the audience is waiting for a master class in which the simplest twigs and sticks come to life and, with the help of magic plasticine, turn into the Human!
