Juan Miguel is widely known for his Wounds series, selected works from which are shown in ASKERI GALLERY. In them, Palacios creates a whole gallery of human emotions, depicting faces in sculptural paintings painted with abstract strokes on vinyl and drywall. The artist uses expressive colors that emphasize the sensuality of the works.

Juan Miguel Palacios was born in Madrid in 1973. He began painting at the age of six, at twelve he entered the studio of the famous Spanish academician Amadeo Roca Gisbert, a student of Joaquin Sorolla, where he received a classical art education. In 1991 Juan Miguel entered the Faculty of Fine Arts in Madrid, and in 1997 he founded the Laocoonte School of Art in Madrid. He created murals, theatrical sets and movie posters, while developing his own style in art and continuing to teach. Since 2013, the artist lives and works in New York.

The works of Juan Miguel Palacios are in private collections in Europe and the USA, the artist has held more than 50 personal exhibitions in Spain, France, Great Britain and America.
