From March 13 to April 27, 2015, the long-awaited solo exhibition of St. Petersburg artist Ivan Slavinsky will be held in the space of ARTMUZA. The last time this wonderful painter exhibited his work back in 2012. The three-year-long pause was worth it - finally, the artist will delight his fans with completely new works.
What will surprise Ivan Slavinsky this time? The exhibition will open on March 13 at 19:00 - everyone will be able to satisfy their curiosity, and until that moment, let all the most interesting remain secret.
Ivan Slavinsky is an artist who masterfully combines classical painting and modern techniques in his own unique style. 25 years of creative experience were not in vain and, today, Slavinsky’s works have gained truly world fame!
Slavinsky’s paintings cannot be confused with any other: riddle plots, paintings, stories, a translucent or pasty smear of oil paint, in which the lightness and flawlessness of color are the artist’s style.
Unrestrained dreamer and master of visual puzzles, Ivan Slavinsky began to draw from childhood, and received professional skills at the art school at the Academy of Arts. The gift of the painter came from his father, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Dmitry Oboznenko. Since 1997, Ivan is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
In his work, Ivan Slavinsky does absolutely incredible things: he transforms the ordinary realism of city landscapes, as if scribbling a magical fabric of his perception, and fills beautiful female images with tenderness and sensuality, making them so desired and graceful.
His still lifes and surrealistic-fantastic paintings imperceptibly immerse us in a special world. They can be read like books, always discovering something new.
The work of Ivan Slavinsky is the work of a person who sees the beauty of life with special eyesight, as only an artist who truly feels the beauty can see.
