Federal, regional, municipal, public, private museums, representatives of other cultural institutions, in particular, librarians and museum workers of neighboring regions were invited to participate. The festival will be attended by representatives of cultural institutions from Obninsk, Borovsk, Medyn, Maloyaroslavets, Zhukov, Kaluga, Bryansk, Smolensk, Orel, Serpukhov.

Holding a regional festival is an important form of generalizing the experience of working with family visitors by means of museum pedagogy in museums of the Kaluga region. Festival “Homeland. Museum. Children ”is intended to become a platform for the exchange of innovative experience in the field of museum pedagogy, search and development of modern ideas, advanced technologies, approaches to museum educational activities, improvement of traditional methods of heritage updating, the formation of museum and pedagogical competencies, and advanced training of museum and pedagogical personnel.

As part of the business program of the festival, the following will take place:

1. Round table "Family in the Museum: Traditions and Innovations" (09.09.2021), dedicated to the organization of programs that carry the function of family education, focused on children and family audiences.
