The Museum of Moscow is launching a new block of the course "City from different sides" on ecology in a family format.
We invite parents with children from 10 years old to participate in five online meetings from November 11 to December 9, 2020. In the classroom, we will understand what is hidden behind the incomprehensible term "sustainable development" and how the environment and the life of all creatures on our planet are interconnected.
Today, more than half of all people on Earth live in cities, which have become centers of economic life, science, education and culture.
With our experts: ecologists, anthropologist, psychologists, sociologist, urbanist and architect - adults and children will learn about the structure and resources of cities, about the pyramid of needs, speculate about what can be abandoned in our daily habits, and what will be difficult to live without.
The dual format of the lesson - a short lecture + a seminar - will allow not only listening, but also participating in project activities, in which parents and children will immerse themselves online together. For each lesson, you will receive links to materials for immersion in the topic: books, articles and videos. We propose to do interesting home projects for the seminars: shoot videos, draw and come up with new ones.
The number of seminar participants is limited - no more than 30 people (adults with children).
