Each event lived by a person is passed through the prism of perception. Some people prefer to remain realistic, but not the author of the Kaleidoscope Eyes exhibition. Olga Lyakh believes in miracles and that they can be created with her own hands, so she transfers her lived experience to canvases, inspired by nature, fairy tales and legends of the north.
It is the theme of man’s search for harmony with the world around him at times of distance from nature that can be traced in all the paintings of the artist.
The author is fond of the culture of the peoples of Northern Europe, studies myths, ancient pagan traditions and rituals. The canvases mixed magic, which is the one who believes in it, dreams and reality, shrouded in secrets and conspiracies, carefully guarded by the heroes of the plots.
Olga Lyakh was born in St. Petersburg in 2004. Self-taught artist. The first solo exhibition was held at the Borey Gallery in February-March 2022.
