The play "Odyssey" is a bold return to the once forgotten genre of musical and theatrical viewing. The last time "Odyssey" was staged in the Leningrad Music Hall in the 20s of the last century, in the presence of authors Nikolai Erdman and Vladimir Mass.

From the first second of the performance, the audience is mesmerized by a bright kaleidoscope of variety and circus numbers, united by a single plot - the journey of the protagonist. During it, the brave Odysseus first falls into a refined France, then into the bold America; suddenly plunges into the atmosphere of the alluring East and fiery Africa. The traveler fights the weather, overcomes the temptations of treacherous sirens; deceives Aboriginal people, hides from the Indians and, of course, invariably believes that sooner or later fate will lead him to his faithful beloved wife - Penelope.

Witty lyrics, well-chosen musical material, interesting directorial finds and, of course, talent and energy of young artists make Odyssey an unusual and memorable sight.
