Oleg Zakomorny is a sculptor and artist with a bright creative personality. Light, weightless strokes of Zakomorny’s graphics unexpectedly harmoniously merge with the heavy, solid bronze of his sculptures. The amazing quality inherent in his works - a special view of the world - is very reverent, attentive to character and details, so humane and at the same time human.

“Artist and Muse”, “Nega”, “Awakening of Love”, “Waiting for a Baby”, “We Come to This World”, “Joy of Motherhood”, “September 1”, “I Almost Caught” - each master’s work is not easy portrait or landscape, these are tiny pictures from life, small stories. This is one of the main features of the artist’s work - he puts his personal feelings and feelings into works.

The artist was born in the city of Novosibirsk in 1968. In 1986 he graduated from Moscow Secondary Art School. N.V. Tomsky, in 1994 - Moscow State Academic Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov, where he studied under L.E. Karbala. He is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, and the International Art Fund.

The master works in many genres: park and landscape sculpture, small decorative sculpture, sculptural portrait. The themes of his work are varied - both female images, and a portrait of a child, and genre scenes, and animalistics, as well as fantastic, fantasy motifs, in which the author’s imagination is most clearly manifested.

O. Zakomorny is the author of the work “Soul of Dance”, which since 1994 became the national award of the same name awarded annually to outstanding ballet dancers, choreographers, teachers of our country, as well as the “Dream” award statuette awarded to the best children’s dance groups of the country.

The sculptor held a large number of personal exhibitions in different regions of Russia. His works are in the collections of more than 40 museums in our country.

The graphics and sculptures of Zakomorny, as a rule, coexisting on equal terms in the same exposition space, refer to each other and enhance the overall impression that the viewer receives when visiting the exhibition.

The artist’s graphic sketches can rightfully be considered as full-fledged works as his sculptures. They are a reflection of the author’s personality, express his character, psychology, outlook on life and, of course, bear the stamp of an inimitable author’s handwriting, which is immediately recognized and forever remembered.

The sculpture of the author is original and highly artistic. The sophistication of plastic forms, non-standard compositional solutions and at the same time a constant dialogue with the classics and the transfer of musical rhythms are characteristic features of his sculptural works.

The exhibition will feature about 30 works by the artist, which most fully reveal the creative world of Zakomorny and introduce the viewer to the most striking works of the author.
