Moscow, November 18, 2021 – one of the most anticipated events in the world of design – the IV International Competition of Young Designers “Design-Perspective 2021” has ended. It was a real holiday for all connoisseurs of creativity, architecture and interior art.
This year has been exceptional. The competition received more than 350 applications from young and talented designers from 46 cities of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. The project was organized by the communication agency "Archdialog" and the educational project "Open Design Workshop", and became possible thanks to the general partners: Werkel, Veka, Elektrostandard, Tikkurila, Eurosvet, Ravak, Minimir Home, Egger, and the partner - the Mr.Doors company.
Bold ideas and projects pleasantly surprised the members of the jury, which included world design professionals such as Sergey Kuznetsov (chief architect of Moscow), Vicky Chan (head of the Hong Kong bureau Avoid Obvious Architects), Alexander Bobykin (President of the International Public Association Union of Designers), Karina Tulupova (designer, Honored Member of the Guild of Designers and Architects of Russia), Martin Ostermann (designer-architect), Nikolai Chibisov (Chairman of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia) and other famous personalities.
And finally, the moment that the competition participants and everyone who supported them and voted for their projects have been waiting for so long: the winners have been announced! They demonstrated their talent, creativity and professionalism in 7 categories. Ekaterina Kozachenko from TPU ISHITR became the winner in the “Light” nomination, Polina Pletnyuk from SPGHPA named after. A.L. Stieglitz - in the category "Furniture", Ksenia Tsyrulina from the National Research University Higher School of Design - in the category "Art in the Interior", Evgenia Lukyanova from the Moscow State University of Art and Design named after. S.G. Stroganova – in the category “Art Object”, Ekaterina Deniskina from the Moscow State Academy of Art and Industry named after. S.G. Stroganova – in the “Landscape Design” nomination, Anna Gatskevich from the Higher School of Art and Design of the Moscow Architectural Institute – in the “Living Space Interior” nomination, and Galina Amelina from Moscow State University named after N.I. N.P. Ogarev – in the category “Interior of public space”.
