The Moscow Exhibition Halls Association presents the exhibition project Children: Personal Space, which begins work in early December. It will unfold on two sites.
December 4 at 19:00 the opening of the exhibition of Nikita Shokhov in the gallery "Peresvetov Lane . "
December 9 at 17:00 the opening of the exhibition of Oli Ivanova in the "Gallery of the XXI century."
“Children: personal space” is a social project whose goal is to draw the attention of Russian society to the life of children. The world of childhood must be safe, secure, comfortable. Is he like that today? - photos of Nikita Shokhov and Olya Ivanova tell about this.
The heroes of these photos were 43 children living near the "Gallery of the XXI century" and the gallery "Peresvetov Pereulok". Children let photographers into their private lives, allowing them to rent their children’s rooms and corners and answering a number of questions regarding their relationship to their surroundings. Photographers were interested in the way of thinking, dreams and values of their heroes and, of course, the influence exerted on the formation of the personality of children by their parents and the media.
The result of the shooting and interview was the material exhibited at the exhibitions of the project "Children: Personal Space". His analysis is of undoubted interest for sociologists and psychologists, as well as for all concerned people, because he introduces the society in nuances and details to the new younger generation of Russia, that is, to our imminent future.

Gallery "Peresvetov Lane" has existed at Avtozavodskaya for almost three decades. Here, shocking underground events of the 1980s, conceptual exhibitions and performances of the Avant-Garde Club (KLAVA) and impromptu shows of the Order of Courtyard Mannerists of the 1990s were held here. Freedom, independence and search in various fields of art of the new century - these are the main events in the history of this famous gallery. Such famous artists as Avdey Ter-Oganyan, Vladimir Dubosarsky, Aidan Salakhova, Valery Koshlyakov began their career in the gallery. The Peresvetov Pereulok Gallery is a territory of an art experiment, innovative ideas and classics outside the archaic, one of the legendary centers of the artistic life of Moscow. Curator - Larisa Greenberg.
The 21st century gallery , as a new, interactive type of exhibition institution with its own niche in the world of visual culture, appeared on the art map of Moscow in 2002. The gallery creates exhibition projects of different genres and types of fine art, focusing primarily on the high artistic level and reasonableness of the exposition, which necessarily is based on the concept of the artist and the curator of the exhibition. All gallery exhibitions are an attempt to establish a dialogue of cultures using the figurative language of art, an attempt born from the natural need to live today, remember the past and come up with the future. Curator - Alena Borshchagovskaya.
