New project for children: "Workshop of science and creativity" in the Izmailovo gallery Automatic translate

April 28 at 15.00 in the Izmailovo Gallery of the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association a workshop begins, where children will get to know science not in the format of a museum, but through research, knowledge and creativity. In the workshop, young experimenters will see that studying scientific facts can be an interesting, fun and exciting process.

In the classes of the Workshop, children and their parents will find scientific and creative competitions, contests, discoveries, meetings with scientists and artists, exhibitions and lectures. In the Workshop, any child will be able to learn how to assemble robots, make microscopes from improvised means, create their own cartoons and draw comics, grow gardens in test tubes or create books using the ancient printing technique.

Our workshop is open to all children, including children with disabilities. Experienced teachers of the workshop will help each child to find a job to their liking and make their first discovery. Classes in the workshop are free.

Workshop program:

April 28 15.00 - Open Day at the "Workshop of Science and Creativity in the Izmailovo Gallery"

May 2 at 15.00 - the topic of the lesson: “What’s inside?..”, on which we will make a geodesic dome from newspapers.

• What are modular structures in architecture and how can they combine maximum lightness with strength?

May 15 at 15.00 - the topic of the lesson: “What is inside the cell?”, On which we will understand how the cell of a living organism works, study different living organisms with a microscope and, of course, draw.

May 29 at 15.00 - the topic of the lesson: “What is inside the DNA?”, On which we will understand what DNA is, how it looks. We will draw and examine pea DNA under a microscope.
