St. Nicholas Solbinsky Monastery invites to the feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul Automatic translate
On July 12, the St. Nicholas Solbinsky convent will celebrate the patronal feast of the holy supreme apostles Peter and Paul. Everyone is invited to the celebration.
On the eve of the holiday of the 11th, an all-night vigil will be held in the Assumption Church, and the next day at 8:30 in the morning a festive Divine Liturgy will be held.
Immediately after the service, everyone will be able to try natural monastic products in the fresh air: kvass, cheese, cottage cheese and pastries. Then the guests will be shown a concert program with the participation of various musical groups.
At the same time, an exhibition and sale of handicrafts “City of Masters” will unfold on the territory of the monastery. Among them it will be possible to meet wood carvers, artists, glassblowers, icon painters and many others.
In the exhibition hall of the monastery you can visit two exhibitions at once: an exhibition of genuine engravings of the 19th - early 21st centuries, which were made by the brothers of the Solovetsky Monastery, and an exhibition of children’s mosaic works. All exhibits are of great scientific and cultural value.
For those who visit the monastery for the first time, a tour of all the temples is planned. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to visit such rarities as the Church of Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg and the Church of St. Spyridon of Trimifunta.
