In Russia, there are literally a few sculptors who, in view of the demand in art circles, can afford to engage in "sculpture for the sake of sculpture" and not work to order. Robert Lotosh is the brightest representative of this cohort, his sculptures can be seen in the Russian Museum, the Manege, the Museum of Urban Sculpture, the Union of Artists of Russia and the Ministry of Culture of Russia, as well as in private collections in a number of countries. For Robert, there are no "low" and "high" themes; he lives and creates here and now in our “non-heroic time”, when all great heroes have sunk into oblivion and at the same time everyone can become a hero: a hero of his time, of his life, a hero of his social networks or a hero of the artist’s drawings.
At the exhibition, the sculptor presented works from different years, as well as sketches for his favorite sculptural subjects, portraits of his friends and relatives, and individual scenes from everyday life.
