The ensemble "Bis-quit" is a laureate of international competitions, the holder of the title "Ambassador of Russian Culture", founded in 2002 by students of the St. Petersburg College of Music named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov. Young musicians decided to combine the sound of Russian folk instruments, timbre of saxophone and percussion.

Bis-quit ”worthily represents St. Petersburg at international diplomatic events led by the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Culture of St. Petersburg and the Government of the Russian Federation.

The collective performs works of world classics, jazz, tango, Latin American rhythms and, of course, Russian folk music in the author’s arrangement of the orchestra. At their concerts, members of the collective, improvising on stage, sometimes perform unpredictable and even risky musical experiments.
