The Museum of Moscow has released an online game "Memories" about the churches of the Tagansky District Automatic translate
Churches, cathedrals, monasteries and temples were an important part of the exhibition “Moscow without suburbs. That Taganka ”, which is open at the Museum of Moscow until October 24. During the re-exhibition, part of the exhibition devoted to this topic moved online - the twelve main churches in the area now exist in the form of a game "memory" on the project’s website.
There are many churches on Taganka: a significant part of the history and appearance of the area is associated with them. It is here that the Savior Cathedral is located - the oldest surviving in Moscow. In the exposition of the exhibition "Moscow without suburbs" a whole wall of photographs was dedicated to the churches. There was also a monument of the XIV century, which has survived to this day, and a temple of the XVI century with a gallery-gulbische.
All Taganka churches are very different: is it easy to find two identical? To check this, the Museum of Moscow has prepared an online game "memory" based on the photographs of the exposition. Two minutes are given to search for paired churches, and by guessing pairs, you can learn the history of Taganka churches. You can play the game on the project website.
