The initiators of the installation of the monument to “Real Men”, Persona-Tour and Baikal Rave, announced the start of the collection of design projects. It was decided to create an Internet resource on which the layouts of the monument will be accumulated, where they will be subject to universal suffrage.
The competition will be attended by web studios, design agencies, artists, architects from around the world, they will have the chance to perpetuate their work and name in stone and metal, plus create something that is truly large-scale and useful.
Based on the results of voting, the top 10 works and a specially created jury will be selected, which will include not only experts: architects, artists and cultural figures, but also well-known athletes, journalists and stars of show business.
“We approach this idea very thoroughly. It will be a truly impressive place, no conservatism, pure creativity. We will not limit the participants of the competition to any scope, ”says project manager Vladimir Nikolaev.
The installation site was chosen as a settlement, Listvyanka, located on the shores of Lake Baikal. The project will be of global importance, people worthy of the title of “Real Man” will also be selected by open voting on the official website of the project.
“We want to see a futuristic design, no boring and mundane details and shapes, a bright flash that makes you look back, stop and think. We want to create an object that will motivate men to be real men! ”- says technical coordinator Artem Kaychuk
The name of everyone who accomplished something that goes far beyond the scope of everyday life: crossed the unknown route, first climbed the summit, accomplished what others considered impossible, or devoted his life to affairs aimed at the benefit of humanity, will be carved on the tablets of the monument.
