The many facets of this contemporary St. Petersburg artist’s work will be revealed in a solo exhibition. Landscapes filled with light, air, and color, inspired by travels, emotions, and the energy of the places he has visited, the artist sensitively conveys the state of nature in his paintings, warming the soul and evoking a desire to view them again and again.

This artist’s worldview is impossible to imagine without his charismatic, brutal inhabitants of the city on the Neva, the masters of St. Petersburg’s rooftops and courtyards, the beloved by locals… Of course, we’re talking about cats! With the power of thought and brushwork, he created unforgettable images of these furry creatures, which today are a calling card and landmark of St. Petersburg.
Kirill Karnaukhov is sincere with himself and with the viewer, revealing in his work and in this exhibition the world of the artist’s life, his own world.
An exhibition of works by artists from the Gigart studio, curated by Kirill Karnaukhov. Recognition is crucial for anyone engaged in creative work. Each exhibition represents recognition of their creativity, an exceptional opportunity to showcase their mastery and experience the deep excitement and responsibility of their work, which they present to visitors of ARTMuz.
The St. Petersburg Officers’ Club Art Studio has been in existence since 2011. Since then, a core group of artists has remained, continually creating new masterpieces. Kirill Vladimirovich Karnaukhov, the studio’s director and a member of the painting section of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists, organizes a proper process — creative and educational, developing the students’ talents.
