Russia will be presented by paintings by artists, including Honored Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikas Safronov, Chief Architect of Moscow, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov; member of the Union of Artists of Russia, world-class watercolorist, representative of the Moscow trend of watercolorists Ilya Ibryaev; Associate Professor of the St. Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy named after A. L. Shtiglitsa Sergey Temerev, as well as Olga Litvinenko, Konstantin Sterkhov, Yuri Lomkov and many others.
This is a socially significant project that brings together watercolor artists from around the world. For the first time in Moscow, representatives of the watercolor movement of different countries will gather at one venue. Many artists will visit Russia for the first time.
The festival promotes the formation of a unified cultural space, supports talented artists from around the world, opens up new names, demonstrates the entire palette of world watercolor art in a single gallery space, which helps bring together art from different countries and develop international cooperation.
In order to popularize contemporary art, the art festival will become an annual event in Moscow.
In its goals and objectives, the art festival is truly innovative; it is distinguished by new development strategies and presentation of material, offers a unique opportunity to compare the art of 100 watercolor painters from around the world (37 countries, more than 200 paintings), as well as a rich cultural program - watercolor workshops, free demonstrations of painting from world famous artists, fairs of art materials, presentation of prizes and gifts.
The World of High Watercolor will be the highlight of this fall. The opening of the festival will take place on Saturday, November 16, at 15.00 at the address: Savvinskaya embankment, 23, building 1, Gallery of Classic Photography. Entrance to the opening day is free (from 15.00 to 19.00). On other days, visiting the gallery with an admission ticket (full ticket - 300 rubles, students and schoolchildren - 200 rubles, pensioners - 150 rubles). Free admission: children under 12 years old, veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
