The theme of the project is a call to artists to fix their own experience of the present. The focus is on the novelty of the daily existence of the metropolis, the crowd of the metropolis, the dynamic movement of the metropolis. The aesthetic experiences of modernity should include the fullness of the impact exerted by modern existence, should pose the problem of displaying modernity as an intermittent and fragmenting experience of time as transitory, space as fleeting, and causality as replaced by random or arbitrary complexes of emotionally colored representations.

Modernity is both the “quality” of modern life, and a new aesthetic object, fundamentally new objects, the strength of which lies solely in the fact of their novelty. The artist of modern life needs to focus on aspects of modern experience.

Is a megalopolis capable of becoming a source of artistic inspiration as a center of world civilization? Interacting with a person, he has parts that are opposite to the concept of "nature" - architecture, transport, urban artifacts, social interactions. What happens in every house, on every street? Are the hearts of our contemporaries beating full sympathy, and is the human soul calling for new achievements?

The task set before the authors is to artistically reflect the inner experience of the metropolis, recognizing it as a completely legitimate source of artistic inspiration. The perception of the metropolis from different points of view, the intersection of images, with its shocking colors and conflicting neighborhoods, the construction and reconstruction of the city with a view to its industrial and transport development, contributed to the creation of interesting works of art.
