The seventh international Typomania festival, dedicated to font, graphic design, video and digital art, will be held from May 26 to June 3 at the Museum of Moscow. Invited design experts from 15 countries of Europe, Asia and the Middle East will hold lettering master classes, show poster and calligraphic exhibitions, and give lectures on typography.

Typomania 2018 theme is East-West. This year, invited participants will talk about design through the prism of eastern and western cultures. The central theme of the festival will be devoted to a 4-day lecture program, a large poster exhibition "WEST-EAST-POST" and more than twenty exhibition projects.

The organizers divided the lecture program in accordance with the theme of the festival: May 26 and June 2 - Western days, May 27 and June 3 - Eastern days. Foreign participants will deliver lectures: Julien Breton (France), Louis Balland (France), Leonardo Sonnoli (Italy), Benedict Gross (Germany), High On Type (Holland), Erich Brekhbyuhl (Switzerland), Konstantin Golovchenko (Ukraine), Che Byung-Rok (Korea), David Tartakover (Israel), Majid Abbasi (Iran), Subrat Bhoumik (India), Christian Sarkis (Lebanon-Netherlands).

In addition to the lecture program, exhibitions will be presented at the festival, and in the fair area of ​​the festival, invited bookstores will sell books on graphic design and typography.
