International photo contest "Football 2018. Life and Game". Final photo exhibition Automatic translate

June 6 at 18.30 in the gallery "On Kashirka" Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow" will open a photo exhibition based on the results of the international photo contest "Football 2018. Life and Game", dedicated to the World Cup 2018.

The main objective of the Photo Contest is to use the artistic language of photography to tell about football, the most popular sport in the world, with fans in various social strata; create a large mosaic portrait of football from photographs taken in different parts of Russia and foreign countries. The final exhibition presents the best photos of the contest participants, selected by the expert council of the exhibition organizers.

The competition was held from October 15, 2017 to April 15, 2018. More than 160 photos were received from 64 participants, professionals and amateurs, from 34 regions and cities of Russia, as well as from Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan. 71 photographs from 38 participants went to the finals. These are dynamic scenes of the game, genre photographs, children’s and women’s football, vivid characters and amazing landscapes.

The exhibition is complemented by non-competitive photographs of the 1950s from the private archive, a special project of photographers from Germany, as well as art objects and films about football.

According to the FIFA decision, the 21st World Cup will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018 at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia, which for the first time will become the host country of the world football championship. Competitions are held in two parts of the world - Europe and Asia, and the mundial will also be held for the first time in Eastern Europe.
