Eisenstein St., 8) the grand opening of the memorial plaque will take place to the film director Tatyana Lioznova, People’s Artist of the USSR, laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR named after The Vasilyev brothers and the creator of one of the iconic Soviet television series Seventeen Moments of Spring.

At the opening ceremony of the memorial plaque, the following are expected: Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the RVIO Vladimir Medinsky, Deputy Minister of Culture Sergey Obryvalin, head of the Department of Cinematography of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Telnov, head of the Department of Culture of Moscow Alexander Kibovsky, as well as Nikita Mikhalkov, Evgeny Gerasimov and Joseph Kobzon.

The films of Tatyana Lioznova “Seventeen Moments of Spring”, “We, the Undersigned”, “Carnival”, “Three Poplars on Plyushchikha” are familiar to several generations of Russian viewers. However, the director’s memory has not yet been immortalized. The installation of the board in the framework of the Year of Russian Cinema was initiated by AB-TV, RVIO and the Film Studio named after Gorky, in which Tatyana Lioznova worked for about 40 years. The author of the project was the famous sculptor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Ivan Kazansky. The commemorative sign is made for national donations.

- The memorial plaque to the director Tatyana Lioznova will become another landmark on the tourist map of Moscow. Thanks to her, young Muscovites and guests of the capital will remember the name of the director who gave the country and the world real masterpieces of cinematic art. We are proud that it was our studio that became the second home for such an outstanding director as Tatyana Mikhailovna Lioznova - notes Sergey Zernov, director of the film studio named after M. Funds for creating the board were listed by actors and directors, cinema workers who worked with Tatyana Lioznova, as well as people who love her films. Donations were made by Oleg Tabakov, Boris Grachevsky, Alexander Lyubimov, Leonid Kuravlev, Tatyana Chernopyatova. Significant amounts were also provided by the adopted daughter of Tatyana Lioznova Lyudmila Lisina and the granddaughter of the director Elena Lisina.
