The project "To Pushkin with Pushkin" was prepared for the resumption of the museum. As part of its first part ("Pushkin’s advice to us, unreasonable"), the museum’s social media accounts showed video works by director Andrei Silvestrov - videos in which the main character of the project, Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, talked about how the museum was preparing for the opening, reported on new safety rules, and also showed museum spaces that are usually closed to the public. From July 10, museum visitors could see the main part of the project intended for offline demonstration - an exhibition of graphics by Leonid Tishkov and an updated museum navigation, in the center of which was also the image of the poet.

On the occasion of the 190th anniversary of the famous Boldino autumn, Leonid Tishkov created a new story in which he tells about the life of Alexander Sergeevich in Boldino.

In September 1830, Pushkin arrived in Boldino to take over part of the family estate. Then a cholera epidemic began in Russia, and the poet ended up in quarantine, creating many of his significant works in forced isolation, and finally completed Eugene Onegin. This period of his work was called the first Boldinskaya autumn (later the poet visited the estate twice more). Tishkov dedicated a comic book to these events with texts from the poet’s letters and poems, inventing a story about how Alexander Sergeevich returned to Boldino for the fourth time - in our time (also "quarantine").

The date of the exhibition opening was not chosen by chance. In a letter to his fiancee Natalya Goncharova dated September 9, 1830, Pushkin announced the beginning of quarantine and shared fears that this could delay him in Boldino for "twenty days."

The exposition will show more than 40 graphic sheets that were included in the comic book “How Pushkin visited Boldino. A story in pictures (in two parts) ”. The book, prepared by Leonid Tishkov in collaboration with the Pushkin Museum and IMA-press, will be presented at the opening of the exhibition. Some of the copies of the book will be numbered, with Tishkov’s original drawing.
