Within the framework of the IV Kazan International Biennale of Printed Graphics “The Horseman”, a lecture by Marta Kubiak (Wroclaw, Poland) “Modern Polish Graphics” will be held at the Hazine National Art Gallery on November 15 at 18:00. The event will be supported by the Polish Cultural Center in Moscow.
Polish printed graphics are a vibrant artistic phenomenon that today is nurtured and supported largely thanks to the strong traditions of Polish art schools. Being an artist and teacher of one of such schools - the Wroclaw School of Printed Graphics - Marta Kubiak will talk about a wide variety of techniques, images and subjects in Polish printed graphics. It will be about both world-famous artists and young artists, including Jacek Shevchyk, Chris Nowitzki, Malgozhat Varlikovsk, Anna Troyanovska, Marta Leh, Pavel Fronckevich and many, many others.
The lecture will be held in English with consecutive translation into Russian.
Marta Kubiak - artist, PhD in graphic design, assistant professor at the Wroclaw Academy of Fine Arts (Poland).
