On June 3 (Sat) at 18:00 a meeting will be held in the Perm Gallery with Alexei Boyko, one of the leading Russian experts in the field of museum pedagogy, a candidate of art history, an employee of the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg).
Alexey Grigoryevich will give a lecture “The Last Masterpiece by I.I. Shishkin. Nature, history, technology and biography in the artistic image of the painting “Ship Grove”.
The meeting will become a kind of preface to the large-scale exhibition project “All Forests Forest”, which will open in the Perm Gallery on June 8, 2017. One of the central themes of the exhibition will be the work of Russian landscape painter Ivan Shishkin.

Alexey Boyko is a leading methodologist for museum and educational activities at the Consulting and Methodological Center of the Art Museums of the Russian Federation Department of the State Russian Museum, associate professor of the design department of St. Petersburg State University, candidate of art history, laureate of the State Prize of Russia in literature and art.
