On October 22 at 12:00 PM, the Stanislavsky House Museum will host a presentation of the unique educational project "Konstantin Stanislavsky. In Search of a System" in the lead-up to the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater’s anniversary. The project, co-sponsored by the Moscow Art Theater Museum and digital provider Rostelecom, is available on the Rostelecom Lyceum online platform.

The video lecture series "Konstantin Stanislavsky: In Search of a System" in a semi-documentary format created using artificial intelligence will explore the history of the Moscow Art Theatre, founded by Konstantin Stanislavsky and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko, and the global significance of Russian theatre.

Video lectures aim to make theater and its history accessible to everyone, and to introduce schoolchildren across the country to the world of art through digital technology.

The premiere will feature two episodes of the series. Speakers at the presentation will include Pavel Vashchilin, Director of the Moscow Art Theater Museum; Vera Kuznetsova, Director of the External Communications Department of the Interregional Branch of PAO Rostelecom Center; and a representative of the Rostelecom Lyceum online platform.

Guests expected at the opening will include distinguished guests, actors from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, students from the Moscow Art Theatre School, and others.

The project "Konstantin Stanislavsky: In Search of a System" will be a valuable addition to the school curriculum. Video lectures and notes on the topic, posted on the online educational platform "Lyceum," will use their engaging format to immerse students in the world of theater arts, develop their aesthetic taste, and broaden their horizons.

Staff from the Moscow Art Theatre Museum and students from the Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Art Theatre School took part in the filming of the video.

The series consists of ten video lectures. Five of them are currently available to all authorized users on the Rostelecom Lyceum platform. The course team has also developed notes with additional materials on the video topics and self-assessment assignments. After reading the notes and watching the video, students can test themselves by taking a colorful quiz on the history of theater.
