1.2. This Regulation on the Competition determines the organization and conduct of the Competition, selection criteria for the work, the composition of participants, the procedure for awarding winners and prize-winners.
1.3. The competition is held as part of the museum’s New Year events.

2. The main terms used in this Regulation.
2.1. The following basic terms are used in this Regulation:
Organizer - Irkutsk Regional Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev.
Participant - the author of the drawing that meets the requirements of the Competition.
The jury is a group of experts evaluating the entries and determining the winners of the Competition.

3. Goals and objectives of the contest of children’s drawings
3.1. Competition Objectives:

• museum participation in the formation of an aesthetic perception of cultural values ​​among the younger generation;
• the formation in children of interest in the visual arts;
• realization of the creative abilities of schoolchildren.

3.2. Tasks of the organizer of the Competition:

• organization and holding of the Competition;
• ensuring the participation of as many children as possible in the Competition;
• organization of information support for the Competition;
• holding an exhibition of the best works by the jury of the Competition;
• providing prizes and gifts to the winners and participants of the Competition.

4. Terms of the competition
4.1. Participation in the competition is free.
4.2. A prerequisite is a subscription to updates of our groups on social networks - to be able to track changes and (or) additions to the Terms and Conditions of the competition (in case there are any), and also to attract interest to our competition.

5. Requirements for drawings submitted to the Competition.
5.1. Drawings must correspond to the theme of the Competition (“Christmas Card”), comply with generally accepted ethical standards;
5.2. A drawing for the competition can be submitted only by its author (parents with the consent of the author or teacher of the educational institution with the consent of the author and parents).
5.3. The idea of ​​the drawing should be original (copyright);
5.4. Drawings should be made in A4 format (210 mm x 297 mm) on paper, in any technique, the total weight of the card should not exceed 300 grams.
5.5. Each figure must have an accompanying sheet, which is attached to the figure.
5.6. The following information must be indicated on the cover sheet:

• F. I. O. of the author, his age;
• name of the picture;
• postal address of the author;
• contact details (phone and (or) email address of the contestant or his representative (parent or teacher);
• the name of the educational institution in which the author and creative director are studying (if any).

5.7. The number of works submitted to the Competition by one child may not exceed 1 figure.
5.8. All drawings sent to the Competition can be used by the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev for exhibitions and the manufacture of printing and other visual products.
5.9. Entries submitted to the Competition are not returned by the Organizers.

CHAPTER 2. ORGANIZER OF THE COMPETITION

6. Functions and responsibilities of the Organizer
6.1. The following functions are assigned to the Contest Organizer:
on coordination of the Competition:

• Competition Coordination;
• determination of the conditions for the Competition;
• formulation of requirements for competitive works submitted for participation in this Competition;
• approval of deadlines for submission of works;
• determination of criteria for evaluating competitive works;
• determination of the composition of the jury and expert assessment by the jury;
• conducting events within the framework of the information and advertising campaign of the Competition;
• distribution of information on the results of the Competition;
• purchase of a prize fund;

6.2. The responsibilities of the Contest Organizer include:

• creation of equal conditions for all participants of the Competition;
• ensuring the publicity of the Competition.

CHAPTER 3. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF FIGURES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION

7. Age categories of the Contest participants.
7.1. Participants of the Competition are children of four age categories:
I category - children from 7 to 10 years old;
II category - children from 11 to 14 years old;
III category - participants from 15 to 18 years old.

8. Stages and dates of the competition

8.1. Participants submit their entries to the main building of the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum at the address: Irkutsk, st. Lenin, 5 no later than December 29th.
8.2. The organizer determines the composition of the Jury, which does not include interested representatives of the participants in the Competition.
8.3. The jury determines the winners of the Competition according to the nominations and summarizes the results of the Competition.
8.4. The selection of works takes place in four age categories, three places for each age category:
I-category - children from 7 to 10 years: 1 place; 2nd place; 3rd place;
II category - children from 11 to 14 years: 1 place; 2nd place; 3rd place;
III category - children from 15 to 18 years: 1 place; 2nd place; 3rd place.

9. The author (parents of the author), submitting his work (the work of his child) to the competition, confirms the authorship of the drawing and agrees that the drawing can be published in any publications, shown in any way on any actions held by the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev.

CHAPTER 4. COMPETITION RESULTS

10. Announcement of the results of the competition.
10.1. Information about the results of the Competition is posted in social networks and on the Organizer’s website no later than January 5, 2019.

11. Based on the results of the work of the Jury, an exposition of the exhibition “Christmas Card” is formed.

12. The award ceremony will take place during the Christmas evening on January 6, 2019 in the main building of the Irkutsk Art Museum named after V.P. Sukachev at the address: Irkutsk, st. Lenin, 5.

CHAPTER 5. PRIZE FUND.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in three categories, incentive prizes for the most creative works are also provided.
