The compositions of Bach, Byrd, Forkre, Frescobaldi will be played.
Harpsichord appeared and became popular in an era when connections between different geographical areas were, to put it mildly, not too developed. Therefore, the music of each country, and even the region, is very different from others. It can be said that for baroque this has become one of the most important values, since the very same autonomy and individuality of music in each country has been preserved. In our concert, the works of composers from the clavier schools of Germany, Italy, France, England and others will be performed. Spectators will be able to feel for themselves the beauty and originality of the music for harpsichord written in different countries.
The program will be performed by one of the most talented harpsichordists of St. Petersburg, Olga Kotlyarova, laureate of international competitions on the instrument, which was restored by the famous harpsichord master Boris Muratov.
the concert is conducted by Elena Popova
