Thematic screenings at the exhibition are an American film by one of the founders of horror films - director Tod Browning of 1936. Free adaptation of Abraham Merrit’s novel “Burn, Witch, Burn!”. The film “The Devil Doll” (The Devil Doll, 1935) used innovative special effects in the story of a man who found a way to reduce people to the size of dolls and uses them to revenge his enemies. After that, Browning made only one more film and since 1939 lived in almost complete solitude, dealing with real estate operations. Cast: Lionel Barrymore, Maureen O’Sullivan, Frank Lawton, etc. 100/50 rub.
