Making an exact copy of a person - a new technology Automatic translate
The PROLAB 3D company has developed a new unique technology for quickly creating decorative copies of real people in full growth. In production, two 3D scanners and a special milling robot are used.
Now you can make a highly detailed copy of a real person (or fictional character) very quickly and efficiently. Materials: special polypropylene, wood, marble. Thanks to the manufacturing technology from PROLAB 3D studio, the finished sculptures are light and durable. The finished figure can be painted, coated with acrylic or fiberglass.
What is unique about the technology?
It is much faster and cheaper. The manufacture of such a figure by traditional methods takes several months and costs from 200,000 to 500,000 rubles. The PROLAB 3D studio used the most advanced 3D technologies, which reduced the production time to 10-15 days, and the cost - up to several tens of thousands of rubles.
The process of obtaining a 3D model and manufacturing the finished statue is almost completely automated, which eliminates errors caused by the human factor.
Where are such sculptures needed?
- As a unique gift (for example, for an anniversary)
- As a decoration in the house
- In the production of films and series
- Designers - for decorating houses and plots
- In theatrical productions
- In advertising production
How do we do this?
1. Scan a person
First we need to get a 3D model of the future sculpture. Therefore, at the very beginning we scan the person whose copy we will create. The process is simple, safe and takes only 15-20 minutes. The peculiarity of our approach is that we use two 3D scanners at once for the most accurate copying.
2. Prepare a 3D model
The data obtained using the 3D scanner is processed by the 3D artist. At this stage, a 3D file is created that is ideal for the further production of the figure: the smallest details are finalized, scanning inaccuracies are eliminated.
3. Automatic sculpture production
As the saying goes, "we cut off everything superfluous": the finished sculpture is cut from a whole piece of special expanded polystyrene with increased density. Depending on the surface quality you choose, the process can take from 10 to 24 hours.
4. Post-processing
The finished figure can be modified according to your desire to give it various properties. For example, the sculpture can be covered with a layer of acrylic, which will make it smooth visually similar to marble or more strong and textured (with tubercles and depressions up to 5 mm). In addition, for you we can “age” the figure or give the surface other effects.
