The Anton Here Near Center, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association present the project “The Art of Being Near”, which includes an exhibition and a charity auction in favor of organizations supporting children and adults with autism spectrum disorders. The latest art strategies are presented by Ivan Novikov, Ivan Plusch and Oleg Ustinov. Showing various topics on the subject, representing many manifestations of reality, the curators focus on the fact that the problem of autism is not highly social: according to statistics, every 68th child is born with this feature. The activities of the Anton Center is nearby and the Akademichesky CCiD project, in whose favor the auction will take place, make sure that people with autism have a common life with us and we all need to learn to understand each other.
On April 2, an auction will be held at MMOMA , lots of which will be the works presented at the exhibition. All proceeds from their sale will be used to support the programs of the only Center for social habilitation, training and creativity for adults with autism "Anton is near" (St. Petersburg) and a project on the organization of leisure, development and social adaptation of children and adolescents with autism of the inclusive cultural center of the Central Academic and Academic University (Moscow). The purpose of the auction, timed to coincide with World Autism Awareness Day, will be not only to collect donations, but also to draw public attention to the problems of children and adults with special needs.
