DEVE gallery and the international association of artists “The Circle for artists” present the international exhibition “The Sixth sense”, dedicated to intuition. The exhibition will be held from June 4th to 12th, 2015.
The modern troubled world pays too much attention to external pleasures and is little concerned about the inner world of man. Our five senses - sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste - this is what connects us with the outside world. The more we distance ourselves from these feelings, the more we can hear the voice of the sixth sense, intuition.
Albert Einstein once said that intuition is a “sacred gift” and intelligence is a “faithful servant”. If our priority is a “sacred gift” rather than a “faithful servant,” there may be fewer conflicts, crises, and climate change in the world. The art of any great master from Michelangelo to Gerhard Richter begins with this “sacred gift”.
The exhibition studies the possible paths of movement from the five senses to the sixth sense. There are various “roads” that arouse intuition, for example, immersion in nature, surrounded by water, observation of our own unconscious actions, the disclosure of the “feminine aspect” in ourselves, meditation.
Each of the five artists explores one of these paths, helping other people find their way to the sixth sense.
The grand opening will take place on June 3, 2015 at 19.00, in the DEVE gallery Moscow. An hour before the opening, the performance of “The Sixth sense” by Alex Inchbald will take place, then the performance of Stef Hermes “The Water Act”, as well as a live performance by the author and performer of the track “The Sixth Sense” Mikhail Vasilyev to the video projection of the artist Evgenia Krikova.
“The Sixth sense” is the second collective exhibition organized by “The Circle for artists” in Moscow. “The Circle for artists” unites artists from all over the world, regardless of borders, politics and different cultures, realizing their creative potential.
As part of the exhibition program:
On June 6, 2015 a master class for collectors “Life with Art” will be held (prepared jointly with “The Collector’s Way”, www.clubcollectors.com )
On the last day of the exhibition, June 12, 2015, Alex Inchbald, one of the founders of “The Circle for artists”, will hold a private master class “The Sixth sense”, where participants will try to “connect” to their sixth sense, which will help to reveal their creative potential.
