Impressionism is a trend in art no less analytical in spirit than cubism or abstractionism. Actually, modern art began with a distinction between the internal and external forms of the image. Everything was a little different in music: musical impressionism and expressionism completed the romantic age of music, putting a double line under it.

The program that we came up with includes two interpretations of impressionism - traditional, illustrative and modern, analytical. Three artists - Monet, Pizarro and Cezanne, and three composers - Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and Georg-Friedrich Haas will help us understand the deep essence of the phenomenon of impressionism, which is at the crossroads of artistic eras.
