Organizers of the festival: SPb GBUK Petersburg Concert, FSBI SPb Research Institute of Ear, Throat, Nose and Speech, Parent Association “I hear the world!”, Almanac of the social partnership “Patron”.

The aim of the project is to demonstrate to the general public that any child with hearing impairment can socialize in a hearing society and lead a normal life: hear, speak, and also show their vocal and musical abilities. In addition, the music festival is aimed at creative rehabilitation of children with hearing impairments, the development of the personality and ability of self-expression of its participants.

The Magic Symphony music festival was first held in St. Petersburg in 2016. Thanks to cochlear implantation and proper rehabilitation, talented children with hearing impairments were able to declare themselves and that their peculiarity does not interfere with the development of their creative personality and musical career. More than 800 children, their families, friends, as well as specialists watched the gala concert in the Capella, and several thousand people watched an online broadcast on the City + TV channel. The project received a great response in the media and was reflected on the air of the leading television channels and radio stations in Russia, as well as on the pages of all the main printed media in the city.

This year, the number of applications for participation in the Festival has doubled. 126 applications, 57 cities of the world, 8 participating countries - brief numbers of the qualifying round. And only 11 talented children will perform on the famous stage in the gala concert on October 10.

Together with festival partners, useful seminars and master classes will also be organized for professionals and parents, and a bright entertainment program before the concert for children’s audience!
