For a day, a flea market will open in the center of Moscow, where everyone can find the perfect gift by March 8th among vintage jewelry, old china and lovely trinkets of the last century.

Shoppers in the only flea market within the Garden Ring are waiting for things with history: jewelry, cutlery, metal decor, antique china, Soviet badges, books, coins and toys. A walk along the rows with rare goods will become an excursion through styles and eras.

The city flea market has been held at the Museum of Moscow since 2013, and each time it is thematic. This time it is dedicated to the history of the 20th century. Visitors will be able to see the reconstructed interiors of the last century at the Old Apartment exhibition in Proviant warehouses, and after that they will find antique items from collectors in the courtyard of the museum.

The program includes live retro music and hot street food. Children are expected at a Sunday lesson in the history of art from 14:00 to 18:00 at the Children’s Center of the Museum of Moscow.

Along with experienced collectors, second-hand book dealers and artists, everyone can take part in the flea market (applications are waiting at dommuzey@gmail.com).
