November 3, the Pushkin Museum. A.S. Pushkin will take part in the "Night of the Arts". From 18:00 to 22:00, admission to the Museum’s main building * will be free of charge, including at the East Jazz and Russian Jordan exhibitions. Having answered all the questions of the online quiz on knowledge of works of art on the museum’s website, it will be possible to get to the museum without waiting in line.
The central event of the action will be the dance performance “Fluid Motion” staged by choreographer Artem Ignatiev. It is dedicated to the interaction of a work of art and the viewer. Artists of the Moscow Ballet Theater will present a plastic performance in the museum space in which the observer is no less important than the observed.
Visitors are also waiting for tours of the East Jazz exhibition. Viewers will see compositions composed of bathrobes and fabrics of the 19th century from the collection of Alexander Klyachin and abstract paintings of Western artists of the 20th century and learn about how the art of anonymous masters of the East directly or indirectly influenced modern and contemporary art. One of the excursions will go with a sign language translation.
In addition, especially for the “Night of the Arts” campaign, the Club of Young Guides (KUI) prepared sightseeing tours of the museum’s permanent exhibition.
