March 2 at 18.00 in the Perm Art Gallery opens an exhibition of Anatoly Zabolotsky - a famous cameraman and photo artist, whose work is counted among the gold fund of Russian culture.
Anatoly Dmitrievich participated in the creation of 15 feature films and 8 documentaries. Among them: “Alpine ballad” (Dir. B. Stepanov, 1965), “Through the cemetery” (Dir. V. Turov, 1964), “A word for protection” (Dir. V. Abdrashitov, 1986), “Cliff” )Dir. V. Vengerov, 1983). The greatest recognition came to D. Zabolotsky after the films of V. M. Shukshin “The stove-benches” and “Kalina red”.
Anatoly Dmitrievich also said his unique word in art photography, to which he devoted more than 40 years.
At the beginning of 2016, Anatoly Dmitrievich donated a significant part of his unique photo collection (more than 500 works) to the Perm Art Gallery.
The exposition “Life has presented to see…” will feature about 400 works of art, including masterfully executed landscapes depicting the Russian North, the White Sea coast, mountain Altai, Khakassia and Tyva, the coast of the Arctic Ocean in the extreme north-east of Yakutia, Baikal and Lena, Sayan and Ob, the Russian plain and the Urals.
Of particular interest are documentary photographs taken during the filming of films, as well as portraits of famous figures of national culture: G. S. Zhzhenov, V. M. Shukshin, V. P. Astafyev, V. M. Klykov, V. I. Belova, Yu. P. Kuznetsov, V. G. Rasputin, V. V. Gostyukhin, O. V. Volkov and others.
Writer, publicist and public figure V. Rasputin on the works of D. Zabolotsky wrote: “This is a collection of figures, faces, eyes and moods; this string of human and natural "exits on the stage"; this gallery of earthly and heavenly, came together together fraternally small and great, painfully dear - at least stretch your arms for a hug, and distant, wisely looking from the depths of centuries, like ancient manuscript books; this many-faced world, many-voiced and harmoniously bringing out the melody of being - all this can simultaneously plunge into joy and confuse… In this reversal, it’s almost patriarchal, some almost dreamed and still real, still in quiet places, life - beauty, peace, eternity, lad… "
The exhibition of A. Zabolotsky “Life gave me a chance to see…” will work in the Perm Art Gallery until April 15, 2017.
