We present to you the final annual exhibition of students of the 2016 photo workshop by Marianna Kornilova.
Hans Christian Andersen is one of the most controversial "storytellers" of literary heritage. A wizard trying to escape from his Gift, and, from the contrary, more and more possessing it.
It’s no secret that Andersen never wanted to write fairy tales, didn’t really like children, and to a much greater extent he wanted to be an actor and write “serious works of medium and large forms”.
It remains a mystery until now, as the genius of Andersen did not comprehend that his tales are much more serious, deeper, more philosophical, penetrating than many, many adult books.
His talent to humanize objects, animate, and through them, like through a huge magical magnifying glass, to show us human and inhuman qualities, pain, joy, suffering, will, sacrifice, death, and so on, is a truly unique phenomenon in literature and cultural heritage.
The analysis of Andersen’s tales of beginners and already held artists of the workshop, comprehension and visualization of them through photographic equipment, materialized in its entirety in this final exhibition.
Thank you for visiting our fairy tales!
