In Russian, the words “red” and “beautiful” have the same etymological root - since ancient times it has been the color of celebration and beauty. The aesthetics of red carries a huge semantic load in the visual series, associated with power, energy, passion, often with destructive power and renewal. All these manifestations of color can be observed at the international photo exhibition “RED”, which combines the works of 128 authors from six countries, and will be held in the exhibition hall on Bryansk from July 12 to August 31, 2017.

Of particular interest to the viewer is the possibility of comparing how each of the authors sees red, what techniques he uses to convey his idea of ​​the key meaning of this color. And just as a single color can unite a lot of photographers with a common idea, whose work has developed into a single exposition due to color.
