February 20 at 16.00 in the Estate of V.P. Sukachev (112 December Events Street) will open the International photo exhibition "Motherhood in the wild" from the New Zoological Museum (St. Petersburg).
Many people care about the question, do animals have feelings? These photos are a vivid answer to that. After all, animals can neither play nor pose. They are sincere every second. The aim of the project is to present in the photographs not just animals with cubs, namely Motherhood, in its various manifestations: love, care, patience, training, play, dedication. Motherhood is one of the most important manifestations of the feminine on Earth. After all, all living things on our planet have a mother, and the theme of Motherhood in natural photography not only unites people all over the world, but also gives us the realization that man and nature are one.
The exposition selected unique wildlife shots of the leading animal photographers of Russia: Igor Shpilenko, Sergey Ivanov, Yuri Artyukhin, Valery Shishenkov, Konstantin Shatenev, Vladimir Medvedev. The exhibition also features works by foreign authors from Canada, the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Estonia and others. Among the project participants are winners of the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year, GDT Nature Photographer of the Year, laureates of the Golden Tortoise International Festival.
The exhibition “Motherhood in the Wild” will open on February 20 at the Estate of V.P. Sukachev (112 December Events Street) and will run until March 17. Entrance to the opening is free. Phone for inquiries: 53-12-24.
