The Union of Photographers of the Republic of Tatarstan presents its Second Reporting Exhibition. Traditionally, the curator of the exhibition is Farid Gubaev, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan, member of the Russian Union of Photographers, member of the Moscow Union of Graphic Artists.

The exhibition presents more than one hundred works of fifty photographers of Tatarstan in a wide variety of genres: cityscape, still life, reportage, travel photography, etc. Among the participants are already well-known and eminent photographers: Edward Khakimov, Georgy Kozlov, Sultan Iskhakov, Alexander Ishkinin, and very young ones, for example, the winner of the First National Championship of Professional Excellence "Abilimpix Russia" photographer-reporter Renata Abdullina.

The real decoration of the exhibition will be the collection of Iskander Kamal, first presented to a wide audience, from seventy unique photographs of Kazan at the end of the 19th century, commissioner of the Imperial University German Fedorovich Locke and one of the first Kazan photojournalists Vladimir Pavlovich Bebin.

The Photo Crossroads-2016 exhibition will be perfectly complemented by an exhibition of unique photographic equipment from the collections of Ravil Karimov and George Kozlov: the Minox spy camera, the Soviet Polaroid Moment, prototypes of modern gadgets, a transistor camera and a binocular camera, and much more.

According to tradition, during the whole period of the “Photo Crossroads-2016” work, the exhibition will host meetings with collectors and master classes from leading photographers of the republic.

The exhibition runs until March 27, 2016.
