What makes a person break out of the usual urban rhythm, part with home comfort and go on an adventure? Maybe the very feeling of freedom and spaciousness that suddenly comes to you on the road? Or maybe these are the impressions and emotions that you bring from these trips?
The photo exhibition “Attraction” combined the impressions and views of two photographers - Evgeny Zhilyaev and Galina Kuznetsova. This is the result of two photo expeditions - to the territory of the Taganay and Kenozerye national parks.
The beauty and harmony of these places have an almost magical force of attraction for creative people. Each author in his own way sees (and shows!) This reserved nature. Taiga paths and mountain climbing, the broken flight of a seagull and the heat of a fiery furnace, the reflection of the temple and the flowers of Ivan tea are such different objects, colors, camera angles. But they are united by one - admiring beauty. And the viewer, thanks to the photographers, can connect to this feast of emotions.
How exciting, for example, overcoming a mountain range, to stand on top of Mount Feathers. The view is simply cosmic: thin ribbons of rivers, saucers of mountain lakes, stone roads. And down there, if you look closely, it’s not grass at all, but thirty-meter spruce and fir! You are all in the grip of adrenaline: a feeling of delight mixed with a feeling of irresistible fear - this is Taganay…
And Kenozerye has still preserved the features of the epic epic - in the window frames, in the villages on the banks of the river, in forest roads, in the "heaven" of wooden temples. Kenozerye is a place where time seems to have stopped. The local beauty is discreet, but it is worth it to penetrate, and the world becomes thicker, filled with emotions, colors and smells. Yes, it is precisely the smells - such, for example, that you can feel at our exhibition - that are real and not drawn.
The authors of the exhibition “Attraction” are people of different temperaments and various stylistic preferences. Each of them has its own melody heard (or composed?) In reserved places. Want to hear one symphony of nature in two different variations? We are waiting for you at the exhibition "Attraction".
We congratulate our wonderful authors and wish them creative success!!
