Fireworks, historical quests and holiday concerts - active citizens made up an entertainment program for City Day Automatic translate
The Active Citizen project summed up the voting on the choice of festive events to be held in the capital in honor of the anniversary of Moscow.
A little less than a month is left before the celebration of the 870th anniversary of Moscow. The city is preparing to celebrate the round date on a grand scale, and active citizens, already by tradition, have helped determine the events that will take place this year.
As the results of the voting held on the Active Citizen project show, Muscovites were satisfied with City Day 2016 and wanted to repeat a lot from the entertainment program of last year.
33.43% of project participants felt that colorful fireworks in the parks best convey the atmosphere of the holiday. A little less - 26.57% of city dwellers - decided that special events should be held for children. Excursions and quests in historical Moscow aroused interest among 24.47% of voters.
More than a thousand active citizens offered their answer. Many spoke out for the organization of sporting events, and also wanted to repeat last year’s film festival on Tverskaya Street.
The program of concert venues for September 9 and 10 was also helped by Muscovites.
Most (38.34%) preferred City Day to be accompanied by contemporary music. Mostly active citizens up to 18 years of age, as well as from 25 to 34 years, spoke in favor of this.
28.63% of participants would like to see theatrical performances. Fans of classical music were 21, 44% of people. Interestingly, this answer was most often chosen by men. Poetry programs were asked to include only 5.11% of active citizens in the action plan.
