The festival will be held in two stages: correspondence and in-person. In the correspondence round, students submit their works in electronic form. Successfully completed correspondence tours will be invited to a full-time tour, which will be held in Moscow during the autumn school holidays. In a full-time round, contestants will be offered creative competitions with a total volume of 12 hours.
Creative competitions will be held in the following disciplines:
- drawing (from nature) - one day 4 hours;
- painting (sketch from nature) - one day 4 hours;
- applied composition on a given topic - one day 4 hours.
The audience:
The competition is open to children and adolescents, engaged in the fine arts both independently and in art circles and studios, in art schools and art schools, in academic art lyceums and in professional educational institutions.
Age of participants: the competition is held in three age groups:
1 group 9-11 years old; 2 group 12-14 years old; 3 group 15 - 18 years old

At the end of the competition, a full-color catalog of works by participants of the full-time round of the festival “Young Talent of Russia” will be released, which will include the works sent by the winners of the correspondence round and the works of the participants created during the full-time round.

The competition is held in two rounds:
1 (correspondence) tour: October 14, 2018
2 (full-time) tour: from October 31 to November 2, 2018.
Successfully completed correspondence rounds are invited to a full-time round, in which you can take part both personally (having arrived in Moscow) and interactively (fulfilling the commission’s tasks at the same time as the finalists who arrived in Moscow).
