The performances of young and talented choir members earned high praise from music critics and confirmed the high right of the Mariinsky Theater Children’s Choir to be a full-fledged creative part of the Russian opera.
On the second day of the “Cultural Program of St. Petersburg in Turin” - August 9, 2015, at Piazza Carignano Square, two street performances will be shown by the St. Petersburg Theater of Carnival Culture, masks, buffoons and the grotesque “Wandering Dolls of Mr. Pejo,” which 22 years old is a regular participant in government holidays and palace celebrations. At 11-00, residents and guests of Turin will see the performance “Circus Mutabor”, through which there passes a thin story line of confrontation between cruelty and stupidity of the Trainer and the courage and kindness of the circus ministers. A little later - at 16-00 on the city square there will be funny and strange creatures in white - lanterns, solders, White Lady, Harlequin and Pilgrim will engage the audience in a mysterious and magical game of mirrors and lanterns called "Decadence".
