Since childhood, we have been close and friendly with my sister, but we rarely see each other in adulthood. I live in St. Petersburg, Varia - in Moscow. In almost every visit of the sister, we arrange a painting session. Varia brings a suitcase full of incredible toilets. Fellini, Pirosmani and Picasso in my heart cannot stay away from such wealth. The choice of dress, leisurely dressing up, Sybarite wallowing on the couch, girlish "secret" conversations, feelings and dreams, all these, peeped as sisters, are moments in my works. "

Evgenia Gladkaya was born in 1976 in Leningrad, in an art family. Parents are famous ceramists V. Noskov and A. Gladky. The workshop is part of the Shuvalovo-Ozerki association. As a child, she studied in the studio at the Hermitage and in the design center of the Anichkov Palace. From the age of 12 she studied in the studio of O. Zverlin. In 1992 she entered the studio of A. Kondratyev, where she met the artists K. Burlankova and E. Bocharova, together with whom she created the group Sh. V. A. (school of barbaric analyticism). Sh. V.A. is periodically adjoined by ideologically close artists to participate in various exhibitions and projects. The group participated in exhibitions in the Union of Artists, IFA, CEH "Manege", the Center for Books and Graphics "Foundry 55". In 2001 she graduated from the St. Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy, department of ceramics. Since 2000 - Member of the IFA International Creative Union of Artists. Since 2006 - Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. In 2002, she met A. Praudin and the Experimental Stage of the Baltic House Theater. The first joint project was the portrait gallery of the troupe. Together with K. Burlankova and Y. Danilyuk took part in the work on the performances of the experimental scene. The artists’ works have several Golden Spotlights. As a ceramist, she participated in exhibitions at the Museum of St. Petersburg State Pedagogical University and the Elaginoostrovsky Museum, the Museum of Professional Education, etc. Evgenia Gladkaya also works in book graphics and children’s educational projects, teaches painting and ceramics.
