On June 26, the art gallery "Manufactura" invites you to the opening of the exhibition of sculpture by Vladimir Kochmar "Existential nostalgia".

The leitmotif of the exposition was the search for answers to questions of human existence and the multidimensionality of human incarnation. The work of Vladimir Kochmar is a reflection of reflections on the themes of life, the relationship between our essence and the outer shell. The sculptor finds answers in the harmony of forms and their architectonics. The exhibition "Existential Nostalgia" - philosophical and poetic reflections of the sculptor frozen in bronze.

"

The exposition of Vladimir Kochmar’s works is represented by round sculpture and reliefs. The works cover a 20-year period of creativity and allow tracing the development of artistic dialogue between the sculptor, material and existential themes.

Vladimir Kochmar was born in Ukraine in 1970. Graduated from the Kharkov State Art School (1990-1992), the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts (1992-1997). Since 1997 - a lecturer at the Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Associate Professor of the Department of Drawing at KNUSA. Since 1995 - an active participant in regional, republican and international exhibitions and symposia. Since 2000 - a member of the National Association of Artists of Ukraine. Vladimir is a laureate of the city prize (2008, Kharkov). Prize-winner at the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Sculpture (2008, Central House of Artists, Kiev), and the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Sculpture (2020, Central House of Artists, Kiev). Vladimir’s works are kept in the National Cultural, Art and Museum Complex "Mystetskiy Arsenal" (Kiev, Ukraine), the National Museum "Kiev Art Gallery" (Kiev, Ukraine),The Kharkiv City Gallery of Sergei Vasilkovsky (Kharkiv, Ukraine), the National Museum named after Andrei Sheptytsky (Lviv, Ukraine), the collection of the ART-Penza gallery (Penza, Russia), the Jilin Automobile Museum (Changlun, China), etc. The sculptor’s works are also in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Canada, USA, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, France, Portugal.
