Exposure of unique photographs on glass Automatic translate
From 5 to 11 December 2015 on Gogolevsky Boulevard, Building 8 in the Moscow Photocenter, an exhibition of unique ambrotypes made by the 19th-century apparatus will open.
In the 21st century, technologies like photoshop or a special filter in a mobile gadget easily allow each of us to turn any digital picture into an aprototype. But the photographer is quite comparable with the artist, recreating the images of the past. Imagine: a hundred-year-old wooden camera, a photographer throwing black cloth over himself, this whole miraculous process with glasses, which after 10-15 minutes reveals a completely unfamiliar before, amazingly beautiful artistic image from the century before last. Is this not an art that language does not turn to call a “photo shoot”?
Stars in silver is a completely unique creative charity project where silver is applied to large-format glass (it is size and unique, because small-sized ambrotypes exist). There are only two such devices in Russia. To attract attention to the project, famous people were invited to shoot, a connection of the past and the present, the crossing of time that can be captured was obtained.
The closed opening will take place on December 4, 2015 at 19.30. All stars participating in the project are expected. At the event, through an auction, fundraising will be implemented in favor of the charity foundation "Be a Human "
