Kovalenko Anastasia Andreevna was born on June 26, 1994 in the city of Omsk, Siberia.
Anastasia is a man of the world. She equally loves teaching children and learning herself. In 2006 she graduated from the Children’s Art School No. 2 in Omsk. In 2014 she graduated with honors from the Omsk Music and Pedagogical College, art and graphic department. In 2018, she defended her diploma with honors in the profession "Design Teacher" from the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University. Since 2014, she has been working at Children’s Art School No. 2 in Omsk, at Children’s Art School No. 1 named after. A. I. Pakhomova, Sochi. Now she is an active teacher of special disciplines at the St. Petersburg Children’s Art School No. 13 in St. Petersburg.
In 2019, she joined the Candidate Association of the Union of Artists, Department of Graphics. Participant of international, interregional, regional and city art exhibitions. The works presented by the author in 2019-2020 are notable for the search for their own individual language, ways to combine it with the spatial environment, unique textures. The sphere of interests and genre predilections is the landscape. The traditions of graphic art of the past are connected with modern approaches and vision of forms. Not infrequently, the landscape composition fades into the background. The main characters are birds and animals. Anastasia enjoys going to the mountains, swimming in boats, hitchhiking and climbing many kilometers of mountain routes with a backpack on her back. All this diversity of interests is reflected in her work through liveliness of lines and experiments in mixing techniques.
A special place in the creative activity is occupied by annual trips to the open air. With all her love for landscapes, Anastasia is inspired by people.
“Most often, on different routes, there are such sympathetic people who impress with wisdom or good spirits. They tell interesting stories. I have stories in my head. And I write them in my own way. There is no definite answer about the technique of the work: I am temperamental, choleric, since childhood it is difficult to perceive restrictions, therefore I use everything that is in the house or can be found in a backpack. Mixing materials is my way to live all the breathtaking events of life,” says Anastasia.
The exhibition will run from July 7, 2022 to July 19, 2022 at the address: st. Lermontov, 8, House of Artists. Phones for information: 31-20-61, 31-91-35
