Starting July 15, at the Center for Contemporary Art (Press Center of the Palace of Congresses), you will be able to go on a long trip with Vadim Bo (Boronenko).
Vadim Bo draws inspiration from sacred and ethnic cultures, archaic and rock images of the Paleolithic. A feature of his work is the texture: multi-layered elaboration of the canvas, the inclusion in the picturesque system of collages from voluminous objects, scripts, totem signs. The characters in Bo’s paintings acquire their own life, capable of generating deep associations with the viewer. The artist’s favorite color scheme - warm and extremely saturated - correlates with icon painting.
Today Vadim lives and works in St. Petersburg. His work is in the collections of museums of non-conformist art, the international association "Art of the World", the Fund for Historical Photography. Karl Bulla, as well as in private collections around the world.
The exhibition will be held as part of the project "Contemporary Artists of Russia".
You can visit the exhibition from Thursday to Sunday from 11.00 to 17.00. Free admission!
